We walk in the legacy of the women of Luke 8:2–3—the company of devoted, generous women who traveled with Jesus and supported His ministry. Their names are recorded in Scripture; their faith echoes through history.

They honored Him. Today, He honors them by honoring us.

We are women of influence, faith, and compassion—from every ethnicity, nation, generation, and walk of life. We carry healing, hope, joy, truth, and transformation everywhere we go. We lead as disciples of Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit, following His voice.

We are:

• Modern-day Esthers, Deborahs, and Huldahs
• Ruths, Elizabeths, Lydias, and Priscillas
• Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with godly men who champion, protect, and empower us

In January 2019—after 53 years of global ministry, church planting in England, and empowering women across 55 nations—the Lord redirected my attention to my home state of Michigan. Troubled by the coarse behavior of some state leaders, and thinking of my granddaughters, I knelt at my prayer chair and asked:

“Lord, what are we going to do about it?”

His reply came swiftly and clearly:
“It is time for the Christian women in America to rise and have a voice.”

Over the next weeks, He revealed His plan:

• Women of faith across every sector of society would be honored.
• They would be celebrated by their sisters and by the King of Kings.
• And leaders in government would rise to acknowledge them.

What began as She Leads America has now become a global movement:
She Leads the Nations.
